I received an e-mail from a fellow by the name of Jermaine who asked me what I would do if I could start all over again?

A viewer sent me an e-mail telling me a bit about themselves, and when they concluded they asked why I never posted more about myself. After a bit of thought I came to the conclusion that perhaps the reason why I am so dedicated to my business will be more apparent.

Affiliate marketing is not something that you can just jump into and expect to be generating thousands of dollars in profits every month. Affiliate marketing is a business, and like any business, there is a learning curve associated with it. The cost of admission may not be expensive, but it’s a fair bit of time learning how the industry works and how you can make your mark in it.

Ever since Google cracked down on arbitrage publishers have been iffy about the validity as arbitrage as a business model. I understand this sentiment- after all, the largest and most powerful search engine on Earth really laid the smack down to hundreds of publishers a couple of months ago, and no one wants to be on the receiving end of that firestorm.

I’m a big fan of the “more is better” belief, but when it comes to web hosting, this isn’t always the case. Web hosting is an example of an industry that has continually expanded, offering more bandwidth, more disk space, more FTP accounts, etc. Yet, while the amount being offered has grown, the amount of resources available have been unable to keep up.

Landing pages are something that many affiliates talk about, yet only a few manage to get them right. Hey everyone;

In case you’re wondering where my last post went you can rest easy: it’s been lost in the transition as I shift from 1and1.com to DSBHosting.com (remember, I reviewed them a little while ago).

A few more days of tweaking and we should be working properly again.

Till then… well, you know :)

Every now and then a really cool piece of technology comes along… the Wii is one of them.

This was written on one.

Awesome.

EDIT: You’ll have to pardon my enthusiasm. I have been looking for a Wii for months, literally, and finally walked into a Best Buy yesterday and there just happened to be one on the shelf. Of course, after jumping around like a giddy school-kid, I picked it up (along with a copy of Resident Evil 4: Wii Edition).

I am now a bit behind on my copywriting obligations, as I am having a blast with Wii Sports. This has got to be one of the best consoles ever made, period.

The internet has become a business haven due to the minimal start up costs required for entrepreneurs to launch their ideas. For under $1,000 you are able to have a website professionally designed, hosted, and marketed. That $1,000 could easily turn into $10,000 or even $100,000 if you play your cards right and hit the right markets.
