I am not going to lie when I tell you that I have started many different websites (over 30) and I have abandoned just about every single one of them (assuming that I haven’t sold them instead). I don’t know why, but sticking to a project gets cumbersome after a while.

But not this. I have had a vision for AffiliateWeb for quite some time. I have been to a lot of the top industry blogs, SEO forums, and general information centers, and none of them are as comprehensive or as easy to understand as I’d like. The fact is that the web needs a resource of information that a newbie - a new internet marketer - can understand, use to their advantage, and generally just help them along.

I never had that when I first started. I had a myriad of people tell me “Hey, it’s easy” or “You can do it, don’t worry”, yet no one told me how, what to do, or where to go. I had no idea; I only new that I wanted to earn an income from home, that MLM’s aren’t my thing, and that I wanted to become successful. I knew that the internet was how I was going to do it… I just hadn’t figured it out yet.

Looking back at the past, I’ve come to understand how my previous projects failed and where they succeeded. If anything, I have been learning this entire time. I believe that continual growth and education is important to longevity and long term success. There’s a reason that Donald Trump constantly challenges himself, or why Bill Gates is constantly innovating.

Longevity requires knowledge and continual learning, and a successful business requires longevity. It’s a double edged sword, but that is something that an internet marketer must be willing to accept. After all, the rewards (both financial and otherwise) are numerous and awesome in comparison to what most industries offer.

So, after months of planning, deliberation, and day dreaming, AffiliateWeb is alive and kicking… finally.
